The King’s Academy

Requirements

• Submit the application, $80 fee, student questionnaire and photo, parent responses, and signed Statement of Faith.
• Provide the birth certificate, immunization record, school-record release, report cards, and learning-support documents when applicable.
• Request recommendations from a current core teacher, former core teacher, non-family adult, and pastor when available.
• Submit recent standardized scores when available and complete the required SSAT.
• Qualified applicants complete an interview with the student and parents or guardians.

How applications are reviewed

• The committee reviews the complete file; the SSAT is one data point rather than the sole decision factor.
• Only applicants meeting the initial qualifications advance to the family interview.
• Academic readiness, recommendations, family alignment with the Statement of Faith, and community fit are considered together.

Timeline

Fall 2027 entry

• October 1, 2026Application opens.
• January 16, 2027Round 1 application and SSAT; decision in mid-February.
• January 30, 2027Round 1 family interview.
• February 6, 2027Round 2 application and SSAT; decision in mid-March.
• February 20, 2027Round 2 family interview.
• March 6, 2027Round 3 application and SSAT; decision in mid-April.
• April 10, 2027Round 3 family interview.
• April 17, 2027Round 4 application and SSAT; decision in early May.
• May 8, 2027 at 10:00 a.m.Math placement test and family welcome.
