Requirements

  • Submit the Ravenna preliminary application, interests form, and three student essays; register for the HSPT and interview.
  • Request two academic recommendations from a principal, vice principal, counselor, or current core teacher.
  • Request official grade 7–8 transcripts and complete the required HSPT.
  • Complete the required 10-minute student interview.
  • One non-academic recommendation is optional.

  • The holistic review considers school records, HSPT results, recommendations, essays, interests, and the interview.
  • Student responses help the committee understand goals, values, and potential contribution to the Holy Cross community.
  • The school does not publish a formula or relative weighting for individual components.
