Requirements

• Submit the application and fee: $75 by the standard deadline or $110 by the late deadline.
• Complete the required shadow visit offered from September 22 through November 11.
• Request recommendations from the principal or counselor, current English teacher, and current math teacher, plus official transcripts.
• Complete the required HSPT and a family interview with the applicant and at least one parent or guardian.
• Educational Foundations and Support applicants must apply early and submit a current evaluation completed within three years.

How applications are reviewed

• The committee reviews grade 7–8 performance, recommendations, HSPT results, and the family interview.
• A grade of D or F in grade 7 or 8 does not meet the school’s published admission criteria.
• Support-program applicants are also reviewed for fit with available services.
