Archbishop Mitty High School

Requirements

• Create a Ravenna account with a parent/guardian email; submit the online application and $75 fee.
• Submit the required confidential recommendation from the principal, counselor, or an 8th-grade academic teacher through Ravenna.
• Submit the required transcript request form through Ravenna; the current school sends the transcript and available grade 7–8 standardized-test results.
• Register for the January High School Placement Test (HSPT) through the application. Upload accommodation or extended-time documentation through Ravenna when needed.
• Optional: an additional English, math, science, or social-studies teacher evaluation and an extracurricular letter. Non-academic recommendations are not required.

How applications are reviewed

• The committee reviews grade 7–8 performance, testing, the recommendation, student essay and video, activities, attendance, and discipline.
• No grade may be below C; a 3.0 or higher GPA is strongly recommended.
• Catholic applicants receive preference, but students of all faiths may apply.
