Who follows this process
SUHSD assigns a school by residence. Every incoming ninth grader begins with district Online Registration; attending a different district school requires a separate Open Enrollment request.

Requirements
- Confirm the assigned school from the student’s primary residence.
- Complete district Online Registration for every incoming ninth grader.
- Provide parent or guardian contact information and the district’s required residency documentation.
- Provide student identity, immunization, and prior-school records requested during registration.
- Complete the mandatory Online Information Update and the assigned school’s summer registration steps.
