Who follows this process
CUHSD enrollment depends on the home address and feeder-school status. Eligible feeder-school eighth graders are transferred to the district automatically; other new students enroll through the district portal for their home high school.

Requirements
- Confirm the home high school using the district address lookup.
- Enroll through the district portal unless the student is an eligible feeder-school eighth grader whose record is transferred automatically.
- Provide parent or guardian photo identification and student birth documentation.
- Provide immunization records, including the district-listed Hepatitis B and Tdap documentation and tuberculosis-risk assessment when applicable.
- Provide the latest transcript or report card and any applicable IEP or Section 504 plan.
- If automated address verification fails, provide the additional residency documents in the district checklist.
